Mwen's best known musical offerings were written and performed whilst with Leeds based live drum and bass band Hayashi. A successful 3 year run with Hayashi included a live performance for BBC Radio Humberside, a performance at Leeds Festival, a support slot for Pendulum and Skream and culminated with the release of the album 'Bad Machine'. In 2009, however,it was time to move on to fulfill an artistic mission of becoming a unique talent in the UK music scene as not only a singer but as a drummer, a songwriter and performer.A move to London and a focus on developing solo material is allowing this mission to be fulfilled in steps.
Currently Mwen writes, records and produces all her own music.
