About this user

Since establishing my San Francisco Bay based marine business in 2002, I have quickly become one of the busiest yacht delivery and charter captains on the West Coast, averaging more than 10,000 nautical miles per year on both power and sailing vessels. I have been extremely fortunate to accomplish this success almost entirely through word of mouth referrals and repeat business... for which I am very appreciative and grateful.

In addition, I offer private instruction and coaching in seamanship; boat handling; radar and electronic, terrestrial and celestial navigation. I also work part time as an instructor for premiere West Coast sail/power and captain license schools; namely, Club Nautique, J World and Maritime Institute. And when I'm not skippering someone else's boat, you might even see me sailing my own 48-foot cruiser on the bay.

I approach my business with an old fashioned way of thinking: conduct business from the client's perspective, treat others as I would want to be treated, pay attention to detail, deliver more than promised and always make my clients' satisfaction my number one goal. In my business, my word and my reputation mean everything!
