MUST LOVE TRASH (MLT) is a Washington, DC-based rock band made up of four full-time members: Adam Rosenberg (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Matt Scharf (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals), Michael Strauss (Bass/Vocals) and Chetan Rao (Drums). The band was formed in early 2007 and has gained buzz with their unique sound described as a blend between alternative garage-rock and jam band. MLT has gained notoriety with their live performances as the band never plays the same set list twice and a smart combination of catchy originals and choice covers has lead to the band being described as "loud and local party rockers" by a local music publication.

With so much effort put into producing a solid live performance, it's no surprise that MLT has consistently filled local venues to capacity in only a short time together. The band has been known to enlist the supporting help of additional local musicians at live performances: Ryan Fogarty (keyboards), Gabe Garcia (percussion), Carl "C-Rat" Easton (Freestyle Vocals) and Randy Rosenberg (alto flute).

MLT has been lucky enough to share the stage with Sam Champion, Mancino, Man in Gray, The Known Unknowns, The Falsies, Pup Tent, Even So, The Frustrations, Jaguar Club, and Scissors for Lefty.
