The portuguese were the first european people to discover and travel to southern regions of africa, madagascar, india and japan by sea route. And portuguese also discovered the region which is now Brazil.

If there is intelligent life elsewhere and they also believe that a supreme deity of theirs created the universe, wouldn't that create a paradox? Two different deities from different civilizations created the same universe? And now imagine that there are millions of intelligent civilization in the universe. That would be at least millions of deities to create the same universe. It seems completely contradictory to me.

I don't mean to disrespect, but there is a flaw in your arguments. Evolution DOES NOT explain the origin of life. It just explains how life most probably took it's course to modern times. But it's doesn't answer where and how life begun. Some say that life comes from non-life, the theory of abiogenesis, but I think that it's still unknown in what circunstances life came from non-living matter.
