MusicWorks has been created to highlight the valuable role that music plays in all our lives emotionally, economically, culturally and socially - and to demonstrate the commercial benefits that music can provide to businesses in an increasingly crowded and competitive marketplace. MusicWorks is an evolving resource that can be used as a valuable business tool.

To launch MusicWorks, PPL and PRS for Music commissioned research from Entertainment Media Research. The results of this initial research show how using music in businesses and in public places can generate positive results, both for companies and for the people working in them, across multiple sectors of the UK economy.
