Music Of Epirus

Epirus is the land of the Ancient Dorians, Ionians, Spartans, Chaones, Molossi, Pyrrhus, Alexander the Great, and the birthplace of Mythology.

Greeks of the South have learned and adopted many ways from the Epirotes, whose last standing tribes are still fighting a war that King Leonidas fought at Thermopile with his 300 warriors.

Now however, that war the Albanians and the direct descendants of the pre-Hellenic tribes of the Ancient World, are fighting against another eastern giant... The Revived Byzantine Empire.

The empire of these "wretched old-but-wise men", resides in a state that is self-claimed as "Greece", and is determined to erase the real history of Ancient Greece, once and for all.

This is an attempt to document what there really is... so that sometimes in the future, someone will say:

"There was a resistance. From an unknown people that nobody listened to. They were the true Ancient Hellens, robbed of their name, and fought with semantics."
