2010 Winter Olympics Songs These were most of the songs the Cypress Street Band performed during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. These videos were all shot on Feb. 5, 2010, during an outdoor rehearsal. Most of the songs were done on the 1st take. This is us as we were.

Music videos and music related stuff. Lately, I've been doing a lot of ukulele playing and singing, sometimes solo, and sometimes with my band, the Cyptress Street Band.

Some videos are simple, one shots, and others feature painstaking editing, maybe hundreds of shots.

Lately, I've been performing mostly on a ukulele, both acoustically, and plugged into an amp. I've recently started to teach that as well.

I love music. I couldn't live without it. I've been playing music for many years.

When I started this channel, I was quite technologically limited in what I could do. I've been working on that and I'm quite happy with the results.

I just started to learn how to make multi-track, multi-view videos. I'm currently working my way through Final Cut Express. It's opening up a whole new world for me.

I wish I had Youtube around when I first started out in the arts. It's a perfect canvas for self-expression (if you can manage the technology and the legal minefield).

So, this channel represents a second beginning for me in music. Despite pulling many of my hairs out over computer crashes, it's still more fun than the first time around. It's largely the comments and support of the lovely people I've interacted with here that make it so. :-)
