Hey there-
I'm Maya Elena.
I'm trying to make a career with these songs I write.
I suppose the only thing that has ever truly understood me is my thirty-seven year old yamaha acoustic, with the vast majority of it's paint missing on the fret-board and it's wonderful twangy steel-coated strings.
My influences include Regina Spektor, Danny Elfman, Ray Charles, and Roger Daltrey. I suppose you'd classify my music as "Alternative Acoustic Rock with a dash of Folk."
Currently, I'm performing in the Minneapolis area. I'll have a list of gigs up soon-and hope to see you there!
