Gourmet Mushroom Cultivation

Greetings my brothers and sisters! I have been cultivating oyster mushrooms for sale at the local restaurants, groceries, and farmers markets since 2008.

"How long have you been involved in growing mushrooms?"

I started with small teks about 6 years ago. I try to get better every year. There are still plenty of challenges even with a few years experience.

"Can anyone start a mushroom business?"

Most people can make a grow space in their home for a small scale /part-time business where you may only sell to one market or a couple of restaurants every week or two. A full time business does require proper growing environments indoors, but if you are blessed to live in a warmer climate you can do outdoor grows all year round.
