Remember, whatever you believe there is a whole world of people who will live and die without ever reading your special holy book or learning your unique philosophy. There is on earth no majority opinion as to the nature of the universe. There only exists the opinions of small and large minorities further divided into ideological subgroups and individual perspectives. This all exists on a planet that is as a "pale blue dot" (thank you Carl Sagan) in a cosmos of staggering size and complexity. Absolute certainty under these circumstances is insane, so always be willing to have your mind changed and consider carefully the reasons you believe what you believe.

Channel Policy: I have strong opinions on matters of politics and religion. You are welcome to disagree with me. People of good conscience can and do disagree all the time. However, please try to be calm and reasoned in your criticism. I have no patience for the pointless negativity and hysteria that are so common in internet communication. I won't block you or delete your comments but you won't get much respect from me if you act like an idiot. In addition I ask that you use your own words. Copy and paste comments aren't much different then spam at least to my way of thinking.
