If people can put up with the weight which at 259kg is porky at best then the bike should do fine. Looks like the 800 but fatter. Shaft drive is a nice addition and can only be an improvement over the BMW offering where the build quality has really suffered in recent years

Drummer and songwriter/producer with my current project, MORTICE.

Played in various bands over the years, some utter cack, others not so.

Of interest to some, the NWOBHM band RITUAL. There's been a lot of crap written on the internet and in various interviews about my contribution to this band so i'll set the record straight for those interested. Joined the band in 1985 and did my first stint with them until around 1989-90. After that i left and rejoined them around 1995 and played with them again until around 2000 when i left for good. I cut one album with them, the 1986 release, "Cry in the Night" and a single, "Into the Night / Woman" released in 1998.

Staying in the 80's, another band i was in which did loads of gigs, was THE GUNSLINGERS, a glam rock outfit i joined in the summer of 1985 and stayed with them until 1987 when the band folded. WILF WOODS the lead guitarst from the GUNSLINGERS was badly injured in a hit and run not long after, my thoughts are with him.

Around this time i also played with a guy called TONY ROCKER or D.ROSE as we were then, did a Radio 1 'Friday Rock Show' session with TOMMY VANCE plus worked on many recordings, some with the great GUS DUDGEON of ELTON JOHN fame amongst others during this time, plus lots of live work.

Musical limbo for a few years before setting up my current project, MORTICE. Featuring the songwriting, singing, guitars of the legendary BILLY RANKIN of NAZARETH and ALEX HARVEY fame, plus BERNIE SHAW from URIAH HEEP, session guitarist KENNY COBAIN, bassist STEVE WHITE and ivory tickler ALAN SHIPMAN (last two now sadly deceased), we released the MAYHEM album back in 2003. A remixed version of this album was released on the internet in 2008 by iMusician Digital of Switzerland.

Recently, i released a special version of the album, MAYHEM with BILLY RANKIN on lead vocals, re-arranged songs and mixes available at Soundclick.com. This version of the album is distinguished by a blue album cover as opposed to the original red and brown cover. The version of the song MAYHEM on the, as i call it, the 'blue' album, has ended up in the hugely popular console game, ROCK BAND 3 and is classed as a 2011 release.
