@LovesToDance1981 ...I believe you're right! Plus, the fact that her crying didn't last long shows me that she was used to it. That's why beatings increase, the victim gets used to it and the abuser beats longer to fill his satisfaction. I'm sure the first time was maybe 1 or 2 slaps.
