All l know is that they look nothing alike now! The Khatri and jat Sikhs l know are all tall, fair and good looking. The few Tamils l know are srilankan Tamils and they are the complete opposite of Sikhs. If there was ever a connection it has very much been diluted to nothing now

Definitely agree, great match, it was close and Monica did play great in parts and fought hard, Hingis also on top form and Monica seemed to have trouble anticipating her shots, but the major difference was fitness & monicas movement was like my dads at times, not that of an athlete

whilst most sikhs are punjabis, l have met quite a few tamil & south indian sikhs & recent bihari converts. But yet to meet any non south asian sikhs but have heard of black & white sikhs & think its a great faith and should be embraced & understood by more
