I love most genres of music -- blues, jazz, soul, country, rock, bluegrass, folk, classical -- even a little opera, disco and rap. A few of my favorite artists: Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald (especially love her collaborations with Louis Armstrong), BB King, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Bonnie Raitt, Eva Cassidy (and her collaborations with Chuck Brown), Otis Redding, Norah Jones, Rosemary Clooney, Allison Krauss -- really so many -- and that's just some of the vocalists. Musicians: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Louis Armstrong, Oscar Peterson, King Curtis, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Sammy Kaye -- and discovering more all the time. Favorite rocker is Springsteen. His energy and connection with the audience are amazing.
