I am an Irish-American Muslimah who lives in Portland, OR with my 9 cats. I love God, am politically involved, left of center, former New Yorker (for 25 years), intellectual, caring, open to new ideas/experiences, loving and kind. Would like to connect with people who respect me for who I am, are anti-Bush, anti-Iraq war, care about people around the world who are suffering, and have an IQ in the normal/above average/superior range. Please no idiots, Bush lovers, Republicans or dogs. Must love cats :-)

The history and politics of race/ethnicity in America, the bi/multi-racial experience, MC1R variants (you know who you are ;-)), God, Islam, hijab, Hinduism, a Palestinian homeland for the Palestinians, an end to Israeli oppression, an end to the war in Iraq, victory to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam especially my sisters the Black Tigers, the Internet, Upper Paleolithic archaeology and anthropology, International Politics (I am liberal/left/radical), gardening, cooking, my cats, charter member of the I Hate Bush group.
