This was among my favorite scenes in Dumbo. I use to try amd simulate loading up a train with wagons, loading them with cars, animals and people, and pretend to be Casey Jr, pulling up these wagons uphill. I miss being a kid.

I also love the musical score for this scene, so FUN!

Don't you just love the way James uses those french horns around 2:44-3:02? Or are they another set of brass instruments? I'm farily certain those are french horns blaring away. I'm sure the whole brass section blares away from 5:14-5:40.

How James ever found the inspiration for this score within 5 weeks I'll never know. He truely made such a masterpiece of a soundtrack with this one. This, and Akira Ifukube's Godzilla music influenced me to by a Yamaha keyboard so I could try playing the themes they've created. Thank you James!

This is among my most favorite tracks to play for Slow Strings/Mellowhorns on keyboard. I get a litte blown away when I start .40 to 1.00. This is just mind blowingly emotional power broken down to simple dots on paper. Goodness this is beautiful music, telling a wordless tale. Thank you James!
