Update: Hi Folks-You probably don't realize how important your kind comments have become. I've still going through the worst experience of my life, and I'm finding out the horrible differences between a publicly funded hospital and a private one -read that "for profit" one. They say its the "best in the world" but if this is the best, the world is in trouble. I'll be asking Mike for help in making a video about this experience. For those of you who know about hemoglobin counts, they were about to send me out of here with a count of 6.4. I was so faint and breathless, I could hardly get dressed, let alone find a hotel room and haul my stuff there. They were "assuming" the count was much higher, and "surprised" when they found out it was close to their standard for keeping someone overnight w/transfusion. More on this later...
