UKRAINE is the largest state in Europe (if not to include European part of Russia). and has an ancient history. The ancestors of Ukrainians began settling in the region during the Trypilian period several thousands years ago. It was here that one of the most powerful states of medieval Europe was founded in the 9th cn. This was KYIVAN RUS' which included the cities of Kyiv, Novgorod, Chernihiv, Halych etc. The princes (kniazi) like Volodymyr, Yaroslav the Wise, Volodymyr Monomakh brought glory to Kyivan Rus'. Then, ZAPORIZHIAN SICH which was famous for its brave, glorious and courageous cossacks who were fighting bravely against the enemies.
The WORLD'S FIRST CONSTITUTION was created by a Ukrainian politician and Hetman of Zaporizhia troops Pylyp Orlyk on April 5th, 1710, "the Constitution of the rights and and freedoms of Zaporizhia army".
The real Ukraine is a land of natural beauty, fields, meadows, hills, mountains dotted with green forests, and valleys full of beautiful flowers, create the unique landscape of our country. The Carpathian and Crimean mountains are very picturesque. Dozens of tourist routes pass through them.
UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE is the 2 PLACE in the world after Italian concerning its melody (beauty contest languages in Paris, 1934).
UKRAINIAN FLAG means clear blue sky and rich, yellow fields of wheat.
The NATIONAL SYMBOL of Ukraine is Guelder rose (kalyna) which symbolizes the women's beauty.
TRIDENT (tryzub/ тризуб) depicts a stylized falcon which according to the Slavic mythology was the Primary god (Pershoboh). It also symbolizes the Holy Trinity, the Three Pure Ones.
