I dedicate this Nasheed for every heart which is awaiting to live with its half to fulfill the Deen
What's left for me.
In your absence, what's left for me is your silence
Your tenderness is what I lost in your absence
I pardon you if I'm told that you're dead
But I want my compensation if your excuse was your circumstances
It was not just a single appointment, so I can excuse you for missing it,
I have waited for you for my entire life.
You have vanished and I accepted it. But then your voice vanished too!
And I kept on disbelieving the ones who say that you have betrayed me
I ask you by God, how can you taste your food?
When you remember a person who kept you while you betrayed him!
His heart was a home of yours; under its roof you always felt your safety.
Why did you leave it a victim to the darkness of your silence?
When I keep reviving its hope with the wish of your tenderness.
In your absence, I wished for your death many times!
At least I would be relived, knowing where you lie.
