Lyrics:
The moon was shining in the daylight. I saw it through a crack in the wall. Like an image of a crystal cave. It's gonna dissipate, it's gonna dissipate.
An empty lot in the arcade. A flickering spark in the tailwind. I take with me a bountiful prize. I'll never give back, never give back. There must be something in my eye.
It's faded in the twilight. Bleach pale white from the heat of the sun. Like a shallow pool in the desert. It's gonna dissipate, it's gonna dissipate.
There must be something in my eye.
The signs were all grown over. With vines we are uncharted. Blind & standing on the precipice. All I ask is that I lead. Softly in your arms. Into the void. Season finale. Closing curtains. & fade to black.

A music video I made for Joe Purdy's Rainy Day Lament. I took all the photos myself with my LG enV cellphone. I hope you enjoy it. This song is simply beautiful.
Lyrics:
Where do you go when your luck runs out Yeah, where do you go Where do you go now And where do you go when you feel like cryin' Where do you go Where do you go now
Won't you come inside with me today You could stay inside with me today Can't you see it's gonna rain
And how do you feel when the lights go out How do you feel How do you feel alone And how do you feel when there's no one there On the other end of the phone
Won't you come inside with me today You just stay inside with me today Can't you see it's gonna rain Yeah, can't you see it's gonna rain Yeah, it's gonna rain
And don't you wanna get warm And don't you wanna get dry And don't you wanna stay Can't you see it's gonna rain
So won't you come inside with me today 'cause I can see it's gonna rain Yeah, I can see it's gonna rain Can't you see it's gonna rain Oh, I can see it's gonna rain
Gotta get my head together, yeah Gotta get my thinkin' straight Gotta keep my mind from racin' But it might be too late Well it might be too late
Cuz these demons in my head They just won't wait They just won't wait
I feel just like a failure Well maybe I am Say it and give you somethin' better But I don't think I can Well I don't think I can
Cuz I got nothin' else In my hands Yeah in my hands
And all these things I'm feelin' Maybe I don't wanna say Maybe I'm just tired Or maybe I'm not brave Well maybe I'm not brave
Well maybe I'm afraid I can't Maybe I'm afraid I can't
So come on over here I don't wanna be alone But if you're busy dear I'll see you later on, yeah I'll see you later on, yeah I'll see you later

Aussie rockers Eskimo Joe formed in Fremantle in 1997. Singer/bassist Kavyen Temperly and drummer Joel Quartermain, who previously collaborated in the band Freud's Pillow, recruited guitarist Stuart MacLeod to enter the Australian National Campus Band Competition and, after claiming top honors, won a slot at the annual Livid Festival as well as a trip to a recording studio. The session yielded Eskimo Joe's 1998 debut EP, Sweater, earning significant airplay on the influential Australian radio outlet Triple J with the title cut. A year later, the group resurfaced with a self-titled follow-up EP, notching the hits "Ruby Wednesday" and "Turn Up Your Stereo." Upon signing to the EMI affiliate Modular Records, Eskimo Joe teamed with producer Ed Buller to create its first full-length LP, Girl. A Top 40 hit down under, the album generated the hits "Planet Earth" and "Who Sold Her Out." Its 2004 follow-up, A Song Is a City, launched the trio to national superstardom. Buoyed by the Top 40 hits "From the Sea," "Smoke," and "Older Than You," the album reached the number two spot. Eskimo Joe's third album, Black Fingernails, Red Wine, debuted at number one in May 2006. A fourth, Inshalla, followed three years later in 2009. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
This song, is track 06 of Eskimo Joe's album, Black Fingernails, Red Wine
