People were born, people died, ugly things happened, beautiful things happened, just like any other day. The Bible states that NOBODY knows the day God will return, and anybody who says otherwise is misinformed, and discrediting the christian faith. The Scriptures only say He will return without warning. We will all stand before Him eventually, and for the record, good works DO NOT COUNT. You must repent, and accept Him as Saviour. When was the last time someone died, for you?
