Open the shaker, and put something better than the stock 2.90/3.15 gears that this one has...didnt sound like a 455....more like the Olds Station Wagon engines they put in there at the end...what were those sad things...403's or something like that? they were pathetic...

My 74 SD 455 shaker came "sealed" with 3 pop rivets (if I remember correctly) , knocked it right out, and I had all of the cool induction roar that all 3 of my 71's had....miss watching that flap come open, as it sucked all the water off the hood after a car wash...too cool! Shopping for a nice 7...

This one has reallllllllly been messed around with...wrong emblems, later interior, big Chicken on the Hood and that God awful Esprit-esque vinyl top....I would get it alllll back to correct Formula trim asap for a better/leaner/cooler look...

I have had three 2nd Gen T/A'a (2 1White 971's and a Blue 73 ). The 71's were fresh, big bad ass 455HO's with Pontiac Performance Cams, headers and 4spd's that would just fly. I think I paid like 2300 and 2900$ for each of the 71's.I also had a 74 SD455, and I am convinced my 71's were WAY faste...

Purty! I used to show my 70' Bos 302 next to rows and rows of Shelby's back in the day...I remember when they were 4500-7500$ cars, and were plentiful, and even seen in Auto Trader for sale!

Nice clean Mustang, with a thumpin' Cam...I would clean up the Coil wiring under the hood (2 minute fix),rethink the 9.95$ Air cleaner, and the Sophomoric Woofers and over the top Tach...just sayin'...
