Mmm... Not sure this TV should have won. Surely electronic trickery manipulating the displayed image is a big no-no to a videophile? Regardless of deep black level, it still ends up being an image that has been manipulated to look better. I'd rather see a native image with no electronic trickery...

Black level is the Holy Grail of image quality. Plasma is so obviously better at reproducing a true black compared to LED technology on this demo. DILA projection beats them all though!

Lol. This guy could only sell a TV to someone that knows nothing about TV's. In my opinion, Plasma technology offers the best picture available in TV technology. The best viewing angles, the best contrast ratio and the best black level (the holy grail!). A videophile will find a lot more to like ...

I've had all three technologies in digital projection. LCD, DLP and LCOS. DLP is definitely better than LCD. But you need a high end DLP to eliminate the possibility of 'rainbows'. This doesn't horrify me at all, because I understand the difference between real life and a video game. It's the people that don't understand the difference that worry me.

I hope the Xbox720 doesn't have Kinect built in. I run my 360 through a projector onto an 84" screen. The Xbox is behind my seating area. A built in Kinect sensor would useless with my setup!

Don't care much for the video. But, I agree... japanese games are rubbish. I'm a westerner, and want to play western designed games. That's why I prefer Xbox360 to PS3 - nothing to do with the specs - just the games on them. I've no doubt that the Japanese have some great devs, it's just that...

Fake. The power lead doesn't come out of the 360 unless you squeeze the buttons on the side. That 360 came out far too easily.

360 is best. Why? Because most of the games are targeted at the western player. PS3 & Wii have to many strange oriental styled games that don't appeal to me whatsoever. 360 is where it's at, and always will be.

Hi, have you got the version 2 bigtrak? The version 2 has two settings on the on/off switch. On hard surfaces you have to set it to switch position two. Cool. We've gone 'bigtrak' mad in our house since the new one came out. Glad to see you've got the sticker under the front nose the right way up. If I remember rightly, even the picture of the bigtrak on the box has it the wrong way up!

Superb piece of kit. I love it. Want one. The closest thing JVC currently make is the RV-NB50 'BoomBlaster'. I'm using one of these at the moment. It may be modern, but playing the right tunes it certainly makes me feel nostalgic. Can't beat the style of these 80's boomboxes though.

Awesome video man! I've got one of these BoomBlasters as well. Watching your video put a smile on my face. Mine get's plenty of classic Electro played through it. Having grown up during the late 70's and 80's. Wicked!
