@Boudiga 1) Childless couples who choose not to adopt are no issue. The system sucks. Are there prejudices in place? Absolutely. Could a vastly improved system address this to a great degree? Clearly, yes.

I think you must be confusing terms. When I speak of martyrs who died, after personally knowing Christ, I mean historical figures, contemporaneous with Christ would have physically encountered him.

That aside, of course I have read it, and it is precisely as I stated: a very early reference to Christian martyrs, many of whom would have been contemporaries of the major Biblical players, save Christ.
