About Me:

A big part of my life is wushu (shaolin, taiji, qigong...) wich i did for 20 years often 2-3 hours a day especially the first 10 years. I managed a wushuschool for 6 years and had private lessons for 15 years with a shaoxing opera actor (acrobatics) who is also a taiji master. I also studied with some (ex-) members of chinas national wushu team (Zhang Anji f.e.) Fei Yujiao who was worldclass performer and currently is trainer of the german wushu team has been one of my coachs aswell. I did more and more yoga the last 10 years (T.Krishnamacharya,Srivatsa Ramaswami, T.K.V. Desikachar, Mark Whitwell, Iyengar, Asthanga), because after understanding wushu, i wanted to broaden my knowledge. That was the reason for studying chinese at univerity aswell. Yoga helps a lot to build up strenght and flexibility, wich is needed for acrobatics and hard qigong. And it is a good tool for meditation. But my basis is still build by my wushu routines. The older i get the more i do inner styles of coarse. I started very early with neigong (inner styles) and think it is of tremendous importance to maintain balanced during the sometimes hard outer excersises (shaolin, acrobatics etc.).
