The commentator keeps downing the bible over some technical language difficulty all the while forgetting those huge anchor stone that he mentions have big crosses engraved on them, not crescent moons.

Chanting 'death to (fill in the blank)' is a death threat. Then they attacked with 2x4's. They took that threat seriously, and reacted appropriately.
