@mwering Ho high can you get in the ridge left to fly away from it?

I fly cross country from Lasham but never flown the ridge mainly because of lack of days. How do you get away from the ridge, is it possible to climb away or do you have to use the motor?

Inspired by your vids to do the same style of videos for my flights. I fly from Lasham, England, so the scenery is nothing compared to what you get but still interesting.
