exactly! experienced timekeepers can't be compared to an electric time for accuracy. Times by people not skilled at using a stop watch can be up to a second out=so many variables. Heck, the distance may even be approximate.

had a 2001 example and loved it for touring. The comment about showing it who's boss is quite right. I still do an occasional ride with the guys who have GSX1400s even though I'm now 3 bikes removed.
