Yeah, Jane Asher looks lovely and all, but the dialogue in this film is dreadfully stilted. There's nothing wrong with non-natives directing, but when three Poles try to write an English script, you end up with something like Deep End. A lot of the dialogue seems like it comes out of a 1960s Teac...

Lovely song, but she's going to get the bottom of that coat absolutely filthy in the winter. It's not really practical to have one that long that it's dragging through the snow and mud, is it?

I keep on expecting Julie Walters to pop up somewhere with a big mop of curly hair.

The most frightening thing about this is that back in the 1970s there were sitcoms even more crass than this one.

I've never heard this orchestral version before, only the one with the piano accompaniment from Love Me or Love me.

All the albums she did with Stock, Aitken and Waterman were good, but Kylie is the best of them. Every track is either good or great, and there's not a single weak one. I like the album as much today as I did 23 years ago.

I wish I had gone to a school like that when I was a lad instead of covering acres of paper in pointless essays about Austen and Hardy.

Maybe she should consider wearing flats. I'm sure it would make all the difference.
