Chills every single time . Trumped is the word that comes to my mind. The Staples nail it so sweetly and then Rick sends a crystal clear message . No one ever injected as much emotion as he did into a song . Most underrated rock singer of all time.Chills.

For me the best of a series of great performances on The Midnight Special. They surpassed the best of the era - many performing live .

Hey thank-you thank-you for both !! These were " scenes " happenings " with production values and slick performances thankfully yet to come . And this was a jam , almost unrehearsed . I saw this tour . Nash was on key and they nailed it in Toronto .

Saw them on this tour in Toronto Varsity Stadium . First ever concert promoted by " CPI " . " Dusty Cohl " and this outfit would transform concert production forvever packaging great acts like the Stones and most others ( enigmatic Cohl appears briefly with the Stones before their Beacon theatre ...

They are a cover band. However they provide the most faithful , musical duplicate of any cover band on earth. The humour and genius of Genesis is there....almost.

Robben played both rhythm and lead on Harrison's Dark Horse Tour. I have an unvbelievable shot I've blown up of the two of them 2nd show Dec. 6 Maple Leaf Gardens Toronto 1974.

This is an incredibly important beautiful song. I played this cover expecting the worst. For me it catches the tracks essence. The forgiveness,the humility,the sadness is all there . Perfect. What a relief.

I'm a northeastern city boy snob who shuddered when he heard country until I heard JJW in 1976. I was wrong.He added humour to writing that couldn't be beat by any genre. To JJW and geez,yup,to country !!!

I saw Mason at an outdoor concert - Iles St. Helene Montreal 1975. And Cobo in 1979 and finally in an accoustic set at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. The most underrated guitarist of all time. Loved it's sound. His All Along The Watchtower was second to none ( He played rhythm on it for Hendrix )

Connected on our mutual love of these blues. ( by the way we were at the concert - would later see them in AmD...

Yup I have Robin as top five best singers of the era . This song showcased his talent perfectly .

Tommy . I have heard many of them live and met many of them . Marley , Dylan, and on and on . But Rick was for me the greatest singer of all time . He bolted on an emotional dimension that for me will never be equalled . May he rest in peace and I thank you for honouring your friend .

He did have a solid folk voice once but he was a dream lyricist and beyond the coolest of the cool cats.

Quite right music matty they became 50 times more popular with Nicks Buckingham.The best rhythm section in music and Chrisine were eclipsed by their showmanship and physical appeal . It became so different.But I mised the purity and simplicity of that pre NB sound.
