"Falling in Love with Love" is a show tune from the Rodgers and Hart musical The Boys from Syracuse (1938), where it was introduced by Muriel Angelus.

There is another verse to this song:

"You don't miss me since we've been apart. I wish I could say the same.

The album came from a television special that I saw back in 1966 or 67 on NBC that the Supremes did. The Temptations were special guest stars. It featured all Rogers and Hart songs. Most of them work but there were some stinkers in the mix, just like the album, which was later released on CD.

Lani Hall was a vocalist with Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66. She is also Herb Alpert's wife. They have been married forever, she never ages.

My Favorite Jerome Kern song, The first line hooked me, "You are the promise kiss of springtime that makes the lonely winter seem long. Orginally from "To Warm for May".

Moonlight Serenade was not the original title to this song. It's first name was "Now I Lay Me Down to Weep".

Curtis is so damn cool, his jazz CD's are the greatest. I love his sax playing but when he sings scat he really sends me. Great entertainer.

The title for this song actually came from a drag queen, who would start her/his routine by saying "You don't know the half of Dearie", and then proceed with the story.

This was my Mom and Dad's song when they were going together. I always like Bob Eberly more than his brother Ray who sang with the Glenn Miller Orch.
