If you compare Crysis 1 "shows high resolution tree" to Crysis 2 "shows blurry mess" the polygon count is a LOT higher. *Facepalm* this idiot must be blind.

@yeehaw789 60 is perfectly smooth, but the human eye can notice framerate changes far higher than 60 fps. Most monitors can only display 60 FPS, I have a 120 FPS monitor and I can easily tell the difference between 60 and 120 FPS.

@PlagaXTifi It isn't badly optimized, the kind of volumetric lighting Metro 2033 uses will just rape your framerate in any game. The only badly optimized feature is the dx11 depth of field (can be turned off), which will cut your framerate in half for little visual gain.

@kmfdm23 It is CGI (computer generated images), we won't be seeing anything like this developed for consoles. It would take a $2,000 dollar PC to render these kind of graphics.
