On my guitar (2010 Fender Mex Standard) no matter how loose or tight the screws are it doesn't change the bridge ( The screws in the back on the guitar, in the compartment underneath the backplate).

I cant make me bridge sit flat to the body. No matter how tight or loose the screws that control the springs in the back are it still floats really high.
