@bigfootshoottokill yeah bigfoot, it's no wonder John lost interest after Pendulum. Such a tragedy - he was sick of bankrolling others. "Others" said he was arrogant but it was simply being 'pissed off' at being ripped off for all those years till he finally got back the rights to his own songs!!!

Never got the recognition he deserved - Somerset is brilliant!! So is Rock and Roll.... Kedron Brook is worthy of hit status as well!! Very under rated Queenslander!!

@bennymichigan I think you're spot on there benny. When you think of how simple the 'technology' was back in 1969, this is a true masterpiece!! Recent so called 'classics' with all the technoligical advances don't have a bar on this. Pagan Baby would have to be an CCR masterpiece. Love Fogert...

Judith Durham was my first boyhood crush - Mary Hopkin was my second!! I was only 11 in 1970 but I think I loved everything about them both!!
