As much credit as Buddy Holly along with the other early music heroes get, they are still underrated. We tend to forget that they were the trailblazers and innovators.

Check out some of the music instruction books that are available. How many were available in the 1950's? I rest my case.

Whoever they are, they do a great rendition of "I'm Not In Love," which is one of the all-time great songs.

This song was featured on the soundtrack "Born Losers" (the first of the four Billy Jack movies). It wasn't featured on the DVD. (Why???) The instrumental version was the theme of Born Losers.

I'm convinced that some of the studios used for TV broadcasts have lousy acoustics and that some of the producers were too cheap to use equipment that could broadcast a musical performance with even half-way-decent fidelity.

A gig is a gig and often the artists can't be too picky.
