If the SOPA or PIPA act get passed I will be gone, and so will every other musician that does cover songs, that's the way I understand it. I grew up with no internet, no TV and no refrigerator even (we had an Ice Box and a small vacum tube radio) so I guess for myself, I'll adapt, BUT..... the way I understand it is, if you take a picture and your next to your classic 62 Chev Impala or have Walmart in the background when snapping one of your kid or grandkid, the picture or video can be classed illegal, if you see a cop beating someone senseless next his FORD car, it can be blocked because the FORD name is protected.

I won't even get into cell phones and how many ways your cell phone can be blocked or service shutdown. I can go on for a month with examples but the fact is, unless people read the bill and the fine print you won't know. I do cover songs and the billionaires in the record/media industry think people like me are cutting into their profits, to that all I can say is, THANK YOU, if you really think something I do with my $50 setup is better then what you do in your multi-million dollar studios, I AM REALLY TRULY HONORED. I guess they just don't think it's fair that we should give them all this free advertizing by doing cover songs, showing people our cars or guitars so IMHO, they should pay us, after all, we are giving them all this free coverage... .... ...but then again, the world is going to end in December, so who cares!!!
