frankly i find the emphasis on child vs. adult a bit of an exaggeration. after all the great world champion Alekhine was a master tactician, but he used tactics within specific frameworks. and also KC, having followed your videos for quite some time now, don t you think you get overly enthusiasti...

@ghgerick so many bullet games shotgunned at that rate ain t easy. docking comp or not sometimes you can see a difficult tactical sequence and then miss an obvious one. especially early in the morning.. ;)

@DuendeDude the black Rook cannot take the white one @a7 because then b6xa7 and the pawn queens next move. so instead the b7 pawn s a goner and withe s game gets much easier.

7 days might indeed become a little too long as the game progresses. once into a specific middle game position, engines will tend to come to pretty similar conclusions...not much to vote about...

why the continuation with Knight x d5? maybe he was after a brilliancy prize...

btw 4.Qc2 is not at all Kasparov' s pet line. When this game was played it was already considered part of the Classical Variation and had surpassed in popularity even Rubinstein' s 4.e3
