The arguments against black people they use are the same arguments certain relatives of mine use against poor people in the UK. Black people are of course economically far more worse off than white people on average in many parts of america so perhaps an element of this is also to do with classism.

I know that over half the people in the uk earn somewhere less than £20k in the uk but I bet the precise figure is lower. All you ever hear about is average wage. There needs to be a short catchy title for this figure so it becomes something that's asked about regularly.
