have just sorted out the soundflower issue. turns out i had a really old version installed but not anymore. should have good quality sound in videos to come.

thanks for the tip off. i've been using iShowU which is pretty good but i can't get my head around the audio setup. i have to use Soundflower to record whats coming off the computer which i cant monitor as i record, so to get talk over and app audio i've been using the mac built in mic. having said that the video i just made i did with soundflower and managed to get a good sound but had a nightmare getting both audio recording into one video to upload. apparently it can be done using an aggregate audio setup, but really i want something thats easier to sort out.

i'll check out Screenflow. thanks for getting in touch.

Nice stuff Ned. Keep up the great work!

I'm using Screenflow for screen capturing as well as editing. I thought I might have to transfer things between Final Cut and Screen flow and an audio recording application, but screenflow seems to handle everything including editing HD video.
