About this user

I'm a Christian. I've come to realize that there is no perfect place to fellowship on the earth.But I do attend Calvary Chapel in N.Nev. because the Bible teaching is sound and the people really love each other.I've been through drug addition and alcoholism.I've suffered homelessness in the 80s.I was raised on the Beatles,Jefferson Airplane,Bob Dylan etc. I'm really into Miles Davis,Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter etc.and whatever else I might get in the mood to listen to now-a-days .I have a music room where I'm working on a release entitled"Until Heaven".It's coming along quite nice actually.It's not conventional by all means.An underlying message of hope and pointing to Jesus Christ as the answer is prevalent because that's who I am, a child of God.A lot of instrumentals also.A 16-track,electric guitar,keyboards,vocals,various processors and drum machines.I'm pushing 61 and my heart goes out to my generation because we had so much openmindness,experimentation and kindness going for us but we didn't have Jesus.
When a person truly invites Jesus Christ to come into their innermost being and forgive them of all their sins, He does just that.It's not like you become a Christian and then you get a regular boy's haircut,put on a nice suit , quit cussing and find a church to attend.There is nothing wrong with all that but it doesn't make you a Christian.Check this verse out: I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me.And the life that I now live I live by the faith of the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me.
And check this one out: If any man be in Christ he is a new creation.Old things are passed away, behold..all things are become new..
Now that's not only good news but it is GREAT news.
The late Larry Norman had a song out and the lyrics went like this:Nothing really changes everything remains the same you are what you are unless you love the Lord...You can check that song out on youtube"I think it's called "Nothing really changes"..I know that feeling.Before I came to the Lord I realized that no matter what I tried.No matter how many hits of acid,no matter what girl I had a relationship with with, etc etc.Nothing really changed.But when a person sincerely gives their life to Christ, that person really does start changing.God makes the changes.He makes all kinds of real changes in your character so you become more and more like Jesus Christ.It's very real and it's awesome.Give Jesus A Chance.And if you're not happy I'm sure that your misery can be refunded.
