If I am not mistaken, I think this was give Beefcake a big push into Summer Slam to win the IC title from perfect at summer slam. But then there was that near death parasailing accident so plans were changed.

To me, Jake was the first and only guy at the time who walked the heel/face line. Here in '86 he was playing the heel part it wasn't long after this he became a face, but his character never really changed.

@hardcoreb29 I think part of Heenan's "character" was based off the fact that he was very unhappy with the wcw. If what he says about Schiavone in this interview is true, then it all makes sense as to why a lot of the times he acted the way he did.

@StarConstellation I think Roberts was retired as this point I may be wrong but I am thinking this is sometime in '87-'88 maybe it was a bit later than that, I think hayes and garvin were still in wccw for most of '87

This one is kind of tough to call. At first glance it looks pretty malicious. But after watching it a few times, I noticed that Peverly skated into Gil, and not vise versa.

@Dadge42 oh I agree but it just kind of bothers me when people slam fox for being biased. Yes, it is biased but just because it is not a liberal bias it is automatically labeled evil.

I almost forgot about this guy. He seems like a real down to earth guy. Not sure what he's up to these days but he seems very positive.

@killerseps I completely agree. Lamont and Bill both knock on each other a lot. Actually every time Lamont is on there is a lot of ribbing between the two. Lamont also makes a strong argument for his views. Though I do not agree with a lot of his views I do have a lot of respect for him.

@MrMolmem yes, i'm replying to myself but to continue with the marriage license, just so I am clear, in most states, it is cheaper to get a license to kill a wild animal is cheaper than to get a license to officially have a legal bond with a person of my choice. How does this make any sense?

Every time I see or hear jesse, two things come to mind 1. his days of commentating with vince in 80's wwf. 2. And his role in the movie Predator (This stuff will make you a sexual tyrannosaurus rex)

So sad that his health is failing. It is very probable that we will no longer have the superstar with us by the end of the year.

I have always thought that a lot of people respected taker partly cause the dude is a legit tough mofo. Even in his wcw days when he wrestled as "mean" mark, he just had this persona about him that he was not a guy to fuck with.

though walt in his drunken stooper talks a lot of shit, he is pretty spot on with owen being very talented but never taking shit seriously, and bret being very serious but not as talented (bret was very talened but owen was on another level).

@lustxxtoxxdust Bundy told him exactly what he wanted to hear. Dr. Dobson was working for a christian organization for this interview. So the anti pornography stance was played up for this interview. Bundy Knew that's what he wanted to hear and just went along with it.

I always loved his commentary. Some times he would play the total baby face role, but sometimes he throw in some heel comments in there. He was for the most part right down the line.

I remember watching this when it aired and realizing that Bobby is possibly the most professional commentator there is in any sport.

@BiffBuzby nowadays yeah maybe. But back in the late 80's early 90's ( I am gona guess that this around '92) This wasn't a move that was ever really used at all.

@ViCe1986 depends on the state. Some states and the District of Columbia prohibit open carrying of fire arms. Some states require a permit similar to concealed carry, and some states openly allow it. Plus we do not know the full situation of this video, so it is really tough to say who is in the...

@Cantstopthebaddancer it is not necessarily "illegal" he was intoxicated in public. He was at a business after the business had closed so that could be grounds for reasonable suspicion. However, to me sounds like those cops were just being dickheads.
