I've just watched the 'history of' DVD. Excellent, but a bit sad to see how they splintered around this era. They had such a great mix of jazz, blues - and the rest at that time. I switched off them a bit around and after Aqualung. The new direction seemed too commercial and basic - musically.

Congratulations to the arranger and players. A wonderful job of a prog rock masterpiece. I much prefer hearing this type of music played acoustically nowadays. Electronics can rob it of so much of the subtlety - especially live, where excessive volume can ruin everything.
