Jiu Jitsu can work just a little in a street fight, but if you are fighting someone that is really streetfighting then you have to worrry about bites, scratches eye gouges, fish hooks, ear rips, and crotch shots so alot of those things would make it hard for a jiu jitsu person.

Bruce Lee was the best fighter there was, you can use the term martial arts but he was a fighter. His moves didn't look cool because thats not what fighting is. True fighting is ugly and there is no referee to stop it so you have to be ready to risk your life.
