Just did a bit of research to see the severity of the injury... turns out it was only a cut and not a broken leg like he made out.

Come on guys! I know this was a mistake by the ref-and he probably made a fair few more during the game- but I think he also got a lot of decisions right. And anyway, with the way the players set out to play it was virtually impossible to referee the game!

To be honest it was an even game that either team could have won. Villa never really played at their best and you always felt that we had a bit more quality. It was a shame that the Marseille players did what they did though because it was a good game other than that.
