About this user
On the music scene, I'm known as Kriptic Kaoz. I was born and raised in Plaistow and from a very young age I have always been interested in music. A number of people consider me to be talented and I believe that, being young, I have a chance to mature into one of the best Producer's.
I started taking music serious from the age 14. Basically, I taught myself all there is to know about producing music. I must say I got into a lot of trouble with my mother as I spent most of my time mixing down tunes when I should have been revising. This trend carried on throughout the year I was due to sit for my GCSE Exams but thankfully I passed, obtaining good grades!
Initially, I wanted to study towards 'A' Level exams but I soon realised that this wasn't for me and so I concentrated on my first love -- Producing music. I knew I had a talent and friends, singers, MCs and fellow producers told me so. They all believed that the beats I made were unique. Needless to say that as other people were praising me, others were criticizing and slating my art! But unbeknown to these negative people this only made me stronger and kept me more focussed on what I would like to achieve as a producer.
I have made over 100 instrumentals of different genres. Some would say I'm versatile as I'm capable of developing and creating new ideas such as Dance, R&B, Grime and anything else that comes to mind.
Releases to this date include a single with one of the UK's most popular and well known acts "Wiley", which received plays on radio stations such as Kiss 100, BBC 1Xtra, Rinse FM and many more. This was followed by an instrumental release "Slot Machine EP" which received an adequate amount of downloads from online distributers such as iTunes, 7digital indiestore and Amazon MP3. I have also produced a music video with an upcoming artist "Komtekz" which received over 10,000 views on YouTube, not including other sources. The same instrumental was used for an Anti Knife Crime BBC documentary which was shown in Genesis Cinema. This went on to win a top BT award, presented at the Houses of Parliament. I'm currently working on my album which is due to be released sometime next year.
For the sole purpose of my fans I released a free instrumental EP "Kaoz Emeralds" which received 500+ downloads, a Funky House single "Not Bothered" received over 1000+ views, more than 100 CD's were given to fans including free downloads.
Aside from music I'm well experienced in graphic design. I make all my CD and promotional artwork. In addition to my own work I have collaborated with an upcoming fashion designer Marina of "Marina Beautique" to produce images of portfolio standard. I have also taken part in photo shoots from Marina Beautique.
Be assured, I will remain in the music scene for years to come from producing to teaching and giving something back to the community.
