Oh, I dunno... I've got a few things that pass the time that's not spent poring over textbooks or bouncing around the country. Alongside the vast amount of novels that I devour on a monthly basis and the three or four films I watch every week, I'm a keen SCUBA diver and an enthusiastic cyclist(I try to get out to somewhere like Chatsworth or Matlock - areas you'll know if you live anywhere near Derbyshire - most weekends). I don't play that many team sports (I always found the atmosphere that surrounded men competing against each other quite nasty), but I used to be quite heavily into running and swimming and still enjoy a jog or a few laps, and I go hiking in the Scottish Highlands whenever I've got the train fare.

I like to take every third or fourth weekend off to jump on the train down to the Lake District with a few friends. We'll spend the Friday evening out drinking, the whole of the Saturday and the Sunday morning out SCUBA diving, then spend the Sunday afternoon out cycling before hiking up Helvellyn or Scafell Pike on the Monday.
