I got myself one of the three remaining new 360/12 Ricky's in the country (so I was told). An amazing guitar. This and Tam Man get played all the time.

It just shows what a great song it was - simple is best. I personally preferred the Dr. John / Etta version ' coz it was a bit naughty, but this is very - very good.

Loads of bands have done this. Google it and you will find its origins. I personally like the Geordie and Frijid Pink versions. Much more interesting than The Animals version.

It was probably 'The Crown' in Chistlehurst which was the busiest pub on the planet in those days. The reason? - 'coz all the muso's went there - plus sad old me. 'Two Pints' was the dog if I recall correctly.
