1-24-12: Slay5K, (1) good post; and (2) nothing removes crackling and/or pops from old vinyl LP's better than a rubdown of the record with a light cloth or paper towel with some Pledge furniture polish. Read the back of a can of Pledge and you'll see it states it cleans vinyl. It works wonders...

1-22-12: Good post. "Unsung" should be ashamed of themselves for not doing an episode on the "Everything Man" before he passed away.

12-30-11. Nice flashback, had this cassette back in the spring of 1978. Used to crank it on my JVC boom box.

12-29-11. Good post. Caused a flashback in my mind back to my room in the barracks in Japan in 1982. I used to go to the base library and read the Billboard magazine charts and order records from a company called "Mail-o-disc" out of NYC.

12-29-11. Steve Arrington "The Invade" back in full effect. Great to see him back gettin' his funk groove on and even more reason for TV One to an episode of Unsung on the great band known as Slave.

12-29-11: About eight years ago there was Sylvers compilation CD on the "Razor & Tie" label that had a bunch of their songs from their three LP's on the "Pride" label, i.e., their first three LP's.

Hopefully hip-hop someday returns to level. Simply a classic!
