Console noobs are a neoliberal personality model, weak persons. They fail to see how PC games are technically and artistically better than console games, and they are arrogant as to call our personality worse than theirs, due to having some critical thinking, intolerance. Or is it too much? Gaming is supposed be 'just fun', right? Wrong. That suggests authoritarianism, just don't speak against the neoliberals. Console noobs know this, but they lie that they mean 'just fun', they are sinister.

They don't even know that in the PC gamer community, it is not necessary to dominate others, but we are really quite intellectual and critical. They just come from that social segment, where it is necessary to dominate their own peers. The console noobs do not appreciate objective quality, they are shallow, and instead they just want you and I to be what their friends want, because if they think you are weird, then you might be bullied, conformism.

PC gamers and Amiga gamers are intellectual and artistic people, to whom computer games represent an intellectual hobby. Games should be as realistic as possible, use the highest current technology possible and be made with the highest skill possible. We appreciate all these accomplishments and we want to push them on.

The console noobs do not think it through the context of an accomplishment. They only play any game on the cheapest console, and their only measure of quality is individual fun, hedonism. That's why I always have to explain to them that 'realism' doesn't mean 'reality', games are supposed to be as realistic as possible, and damage modelling should be developed, not avoided. For example, if theatre was made like console games, it would have no props and the lines would be read casually, because it made sense to the console noob. Or if console noobism was a true value, then virtual reality would be undesireable in the future, because realism isn't wanted in computer games.

In the backround is the industrial phenomenon that consoles are slow, and that the game companies don't sell quality games to console users, because they are only interested in casual gaming. This coincides with the neoliberal economic reform, where PC companies started to follow the profile of the console users, to sell more PC games. The console users are inexperienced of good computer games, and the values of the PC gamers, so they cannot see how PC games are better than console games.

The problem has two sides. The problem is not just that the market draws the console noobs to the PC markets, but also that some PC gamers become violence junkies, who only play first person shooters with an intolerant attitude to all else. This also means that the real PC gamers are in the minority. This has been going on at least since Master of Orion 3 and Neverwinter Knights 1, the early 2000's or 1999, when big promises were first broken and crap was released.

The releases are bad in two ways. They are unfinished or then shallow and backwards technically and artistically, while they are being marketed as the biggest invention of the decade. Also, both problems can be present, when a company ruins a classic or a series by releasing a new louzy title with the same name.

Quality depends on three factors: Controls, atmosphere and realism. Issues with the gameplay, graphics, variety, plot, bugs, sounds etc. reduce these three factors. For example theatre differs from games only in that theatre is not usually interactive, controls.

Good games are made in accordance to controls, atmosphere and realism and the best games fulfill all three with a very few flaws in them. Even if current resources didn't permit the full realization of them, they can still be relatively the best games possible, better than the previous games or just sufficient to represent their subject. Since they are not general information, objectified in a game making text book, some companies forget them sometimes, and others are just arrogant and ignorant, like the neoliberal corporations. Neoliberal games are made with minimum controls, atmosphere and realism as to save in costs. The highest convergence of them is of course the virtual reality.
