My recording gear:
Here's the setup, and it is not much....
I use an AIWA boom box CD player... just normal
CD's, then I run a line from the headphone out
jack, into a "Y" stereo cord, then into L/R channels
of a Peavy KBA-100 amp. Then CRANK it up!
The ONLY microphone I use is in my
JVC 30GB HDD cam-corder, with its
built in mini mic.
I swear.
